A CHAPTER IN THE BOOK
HORROR IN THE ATMOSPHERE
Ed: "Do y'all believe in Sarah Ann.”
Nick: “I don’t believe in it.”
Tut: “I can’t say if I do or don’t. I don’t know.”
Nick: “Do you believe in Sarah Ann ED?” (Looking seriously at Ed.)
Ed: “I think she is real.” (Looking afraid & remembering the night that he had witnessed.)
Nick: “Yea, I heard those kids singing her song at the store. But I still don’t believe in it.”
(They all laughed as they fell asleep. Nick woke up at 12:00 in the morning to go to the bathroom.)
Nick: “Let me try this Sarah Ann crap so I can prove to them that it’s not true.”
He turned the light off in the bathroom. He pushed the door up, until it was barely open. He lit 3 candles. He had gotten Sarah Ann picture & doll from Mia room. He looked in the mirror and sung the Sarah Ann song 3 times. After the third time, the door closed by itself. The stove started to tick. And the chain began to rattle on the back door. The mirror started to shake. He saw an old white face with a lot of wrinkles appear in the mirror. He saw very few strings of gray hairs on her head. It was Sarah Ann. She had cold black eyes, & her mouth was open very wide with rotten teeth. She screamed in a very high pitch voice. She was beating on the mirror like she was trying to get out. Nick tried to open the door, but it was locked. He fell in the corner. He covered his head and ears. His mom surprisingly opened the door.
Nancy: “What’s going on in here.” (She asked in a discrete voice. Nick ran out of the bathroom, he jumped in his bed, & covered his head.)
